The Nightlight Lounge Is Closed, Again…

11 March 2010 3 Comments

nightlightlogoThe Nightlight Lounge has closed again, probably for good this time, due to unpaid rent and unpaid taxes. Hopefully someone can take over the space, with all of the improvements in place and without the debt, and bring it back from the ashes once again. For now, let’s support the Wild Buffalo and make sure they continue to book the kind of shows this town deserves. Most of the shows previously booked at the Nightlight are now at the Wild Buffalo - still waiting for confirmation on The XX and Camera Obscura though…

If the Camera Obscura show at the Nightlight is cancelled does anyone know where they are playing in the interim between the Gorge date and their last gig in Portland?

I’m not sure what’s going on. I have tickets for Camera Obscura and The XX, and although I’ve heard that the XX might be moving to the Wild Buffalo, it hasn’t been confirmed on their website. I was hoping Camera Obscura would get moved to the ‘Buffalo as well, or maybe WWU - Viking Union, but no word so far, and they’re still selling tickets for the Nightlight show online!
