One of my favorite local bands, Go Slowpoke, is set to release their new CD, Alphabet, this week . It’s rare for a local band to release more than one CD, so this is great news. It is absolutely stellar, with a variety of pop, country and folk tunes - there’s even a ballad or two. For me it wasn’t quite as emotional as election day - today just made the will of the people official, and I have to admit, his speech was kinda ‘meh’.
