Glasvegas w/ Carl Barat - 1/10/09 - Chop Suey in Seattle

I put off writing my review of the Glasvegas/Carl Barat show because my computer crapped out and I wanted to include some photos in my review. Glasvegas are a new Scottish band that has received tons of accolades from NME, to the point where they are already getting some stick and they’ve only just released their debut CD. Still, they hit all the right buttons with me - they combine the buzzing guitars of Jesus & Mary Chain and the Raveonettes, the production of Phil Spector and the vocals of the Trash Can Sinatras and Big Country.
